This pilot episode of Black Clover (2017) is similar to the well-known manga and anime series, Naruto, created by Masashi Kishimoto, in 1999, the anime version of which was aired from 2002 to 2007.

Luffy is the main protagonist of ‘One Piece’ and has the power to expand his body like rubber after swallowing a Devil Fruit.

Limitation: He can't swim.

His inability to swim is a significant weakness because, in the world of ‘One Piece,’ the vast majority of the world is covered in water, and anyone who can't swim is at a severe disadvantage. This adds suspense and complications to his high-seas excursions.

2. Naruto Uzumaki - (Naruto) 

Naruto, the eponymous character of 'Naruto,' is a ninja who aspires to become the Hokage (the village head).

Limitation: He can't perform a Jutsu initially, necessary to become a skilled Ninja.

His initial inability to perform a basic Ninja Technique, the Shadow Clone Jutsu, is a central part of his character development. 3. Shoyo Hinata -  (Haikyu)

Hinata is the main character in ‘Haikyu,’ which is centered around high school volleyball.

Limitation: Short height for Volleyball sport.

His short stature in a sport where height is typically an advantage makes him an underdog on his squad. However, his incredible jumping ability and determination highlight how skill and hard work can overcome physical limitations.

4. Izuku Midoriya - (My Hero Academia)

Izuku Midoriya, the protagonist of ‘My Hero Academia,’ faces a significant challenge right from the start of the series.

Limitation: Born without superpowers (Quirks).

Midoriya is Quirkless in a world where almost everyone has superpowers. However, he inherits the powerful Quirk ‘One For All’, undergoes rigorous training and works hard to become a hero. 

5. Asta  - (Black Clover)

Asta, the central character of ‘Black Clover,’ grapples with a fundamental limitation in a magical world.
